Returns, Safety and Precautions

Returns

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Our return policy enables you to return a faulty part or component during your build. Your eligibility will depend on the condition and context of the fault.
To be eligible for a return, you must send us back your kit with all the components in the original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. We'll replace and fix any parts in your kit and send it back to you free of charge.

To start a return, you can contact us at robonyxofficial@gmail.com.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

You can always contact us for any return questions at robonyxofficial@gmail.com.

Safety

Your safety is our top priority, and we want to ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable experience while working with our products. Please take a moment to review the following safety guidelines and precautions before using your SumoNyx kit, which includes components such as microcontrollers, LiPo batteries, soldering equipment, and various hand tools.

Electrical Safety

Microcontrollers and LiPo Batteries: Always follow the standard guidelines for these components. Pay special attention to voltage, current, and polarity ratings. Incorrect usage can lead to overheating, fire, or electric shock.

LiPo Batteries: To ensure LiPo safety, never puncture or disassemble them, and stop using them if you notice swelling or damage. Make sure to avoid keeping them in the provided charger for too long to mitigate any risks.

Soldering Safety

Soldering Iron: Handle the soldering iron with care. It can get extremely hot and cause burns. Always use it on a heat-resistant surface and unplug it when not in use.

Solder and Solder Wick: Work in a well-ventilated area to avoid inhaling fumes. Use proper soldering techniques and keep solder and solder wick away from flammable materials.

Heat Shrink: Use a heat gun or a lighter carefully to shrink heat shrink tubing. Avoid overheating, which can lead to burns or fires.

Tool Safety

Wire Cutters, Pliers, and Screwdrivers: Keep these tools in good condition and use them for their intended purpose. Always cut, twist, or tighten wires and components away from your body and any live circuits.

General Precautions

Workspace: Maintain a clean and organised workspace to prevent tripping hazards and accidents.

Safety Gear: Use safety goggles, gloves, and appropriate protective gear when necessary to protect yourself from flying debris, solder splatter, or sharp tool edges.

First Aid: Have a first-aid kit nearby in case of minor injuries, and know how to use it.

Supervision

Adult Supervision: If you are not experienced with robotics kits or if you are a minor, always work under adult supervision.

Consultation

Read Manuals: Review the instruction handbooks and Video Course provided with each component and kit thoroughly before use.

Online Resources: Feel free to search the web for any additional guidance from reputable sources and online tutorials if you are unsure about any aspect of assembling or operating your SumoNyx kit.

By adhering to these safety guidelines and precautions, you can enjoy a secure and fulfilling experience whilst building SumoNyx. Remember that accidents can happen, but being prepared and cautious is the best way to prevent them. If you have any questions or concerns about your kit or its components, please do not hesitate to contact us as robonyxofficial@gmail.com
